Anna & Tom So today was extra special because I got to take pictures of not only my roomie, but my very close friend, Anna, and her fiance Tom. Anna and I met freshman year at Ursinus- our rooms were next to each other- and we stayed friends ever since. Turns out we even have mutual family! Anna is one of those people that you just know you'll be friends with forever. She is fun-loving, kind, adventurous, and I'm so so glad she found Tom- who was such a good sport about everything :) They are perfect for each other. I love seeing my friends in love, and my gosh, these two were so freakin cute. I can't wait to see you be THE most beautiful bride and walk down the aisle. Love you! 2021- St. Peter's Village
Pearl + Mike Summery shoots just bring me a certain kind of happiness and today was no exception. I also love working with people who are down for anything! We basically had no plan, a canoe, HOT weather, and a car at our disposal and boy did these two make the most of it. We drove around, found a spot and I would tell them to pull over, we would all pile out and get pics along the side of the road. These two were so cute, they had each other laughing the whole time. I think what made this so fun was that I barely had to direct them, they hugged and danced and played the entire photoshoot I felt like I could just stand back and capture "them." And her hair, can you even?? ;) Thank you guys for this fun evening, let's do it again! 2020
Leanne + Hayden So... today was super fun, because 1. Leanne and Hayden are my best friends, and 2. they were so down for anything we did. L and I met and became fast friends 20 years ago and have been close ever since. I've also known H and his fam for years, and our whole friend group including my family + each of their families have been hanging out for yearssss. These two started dating and the rest is history. As honorary BFF I was asked to get photos of the proposal (I hid in a deer blind in the middle of a field in December) and through a series of very unfortunate events (including a dead camera battery-don't worry, that doesn't normally happen, lack of sunset, and Leanne simply not wanting to go) the phone photos snapped through the window of the blind at dusk were lackluster to say the least, but still perfect for the moment ;).... SOO I thought- let's do a shoot for real, in the summer after you're married. They just got married this past fall and how freakin cute are they? Hayden had her laughing pretty much the entire time, which is my fav- less work for me! Cont. below 2020
Leanne + Hayden cont. Thank you both for being such good sports- running into other people's yards for the perfect shot, jumping in a muddy creek in your long dress, the drives and outfit changes, and for the ice cream at the end (cause those photos look super cute). Love you both very much, and I wish you all the happiness in the world. 2020
Kohl + Ali One of my favorite sessions (there I said it--kidding, but it was so much fun!), I can't say it enough... give me a field and two people willing to sit in tall grass and I'm set. What's awesome was, I barely told them to do anything. They were so in tune to each other it's like I wasn't even there-- my favorite! Thank you guys so much for giving me these photos and for letting me letting me capture your love. 2019- Fernbrook Park
Kevin + Kerrie You guys. The oldest Sollenberger brother is getting hitched. Yep, that's right, I'm getting another sister-in-law! :) And I'm so excited. This session was so special to me 1. because I got to see Kevin smile so much and 2. because I'm so happy for them. I don't think ever laughed so hard editing photos; that's something I love about photography. I get to look back on all of the photos as I'm going through them and remember the conversations and silly-ness attached to them. Thanks for sitting in tall grass and getting eaten alive by bugs for me to get "just one more," you're the best. Congrats you guys! 2019- Fernbrook Park
Nathan + Morgan These cuties were up for anything. Literally, I had them jumping rocks and climbing in weeds and those are my favorite kind of shoots! After feeling kind of bummed that all of the rocks had spray paint on them, both of them smiled and said "Ummm, can we can a picture in front of the Grateful Dead bear?" DUH!! And those sunset pics! #swoon. Congrats you guys. Thanks for such a fun evening! 2018
Colton + Melissa I love when couples just want to capture their relationship. Like for know specific reason, cause why not? These two were adorable and hello? This location they picked?? Gorgeous. Also I know I went heavy on the black and white but my gosh, they were so cute and I can't help myself- I love a good b&w picture. Let's do this again guys! 2016
Megan + Travis I am so excited to be able to post these! I have been waiting a long to be able to get to do this engagement shoot and Megan and Travis did not disappoint! I had the best time with these two, they are so much fun, easy going, and so in love. I am so happy my cousin has found a guy that makes her heart smile. Meg and Travis, you deserve all the happiness in the world, can't wait until next September... welcome to the family Travis! 2016
Brandon + Erica This was my first time including pets in a shoot and I love how they turned out! We spent the morning in Warwick park and it was the perfect day. It was so fun including the dogs, and who knew Brandon is such a model? :) These two kept me (and each other) laughing the entire time which made the shoot go that much smoother. Love you guys! 2014
