Q: What are your prices? A: Currently, for a regular session I charge $200. PayPal, Venmo, Cash, Check, whatever is easiest (another FAQ) That's for time, an outfit change, and all usable, edited photos sent to you on a USB. Sessions typically run an hour, but plan to potentially go over a tad.
Q: What "types" of sessions do you do? A: If you can think of a reason to get your pictures taken, let's do it! Some more popular ones include: engagement, maternity, newborn, family, child mile markers, seniors, proposals, lifestyle/ branding, etc.
Q: Do you do weddings? A: Short answer- not really anymore. I've done a few, honestly, they're not really my jam. Again, I can't speak for the future, but for this current stage in my life I'm so happy with my "smaller" shoots. PS- Wedding photographers should get sooo much credit, it's not easy!
Q: Where should we do the photoshoot? A: Ask me!! I have a whole list of places to go near the Pottstown area with all different backdrops. (I typically steer more towards nature, but if you want something else we can chat!).
Q: Do you shoot in a studio? A: Nope! I don't have one. I shoot out and about, more than willing to do in-home sessions if you want. But I prefer things more natural than a studio!
Q: How do I prepare for my photoshoot? A: Send me an email! I have a whole list of ideas for you. Including things like: style guides, reminders (ladies, paint your nails and take those hair ties off your wrists!), prop suggestions, etc.
Q: Why do you send the photos on a USB? A: I know the hot thing to do right now is to send an online gallery. Maybe in the future I will! But after talking to other photographers (as well as photo clients), many people just prefer to have a physical object holding their photos. So that's what we are sticking with for now!
Q: Black & Whites? A: Duh. Kidding, but be prepared for a chunk of your photos to be in b&w. They are classic and no one will ever tell me otherwise ;) They are mostly color, don't worry!
Q: What's your style? A: I have been moving away from "traditional" picture taking and prefer things to be more natural. Expect to not look at the camera a whole lot, of course, I do throw some of those in. But to me, photos feel more timeless, loved, and less stressful when you're just being YOU. I do "pose" you, so no worries there, but we are going to do it in a way that looks effortless!
