Maddie & Clay Can I just start by saying... this. was. so. fun. I've never had someone call me up, especially for a maternity shoot, and say, "So, I'm thinking water..." My response? "HECK YES!" After a sweet and intimate home session, we hiked down to a creek near their house where they promptly got right in! Then we went to a lake and again, no hesitations. I couldn't help the b&w at the end, but it had such an artsy, less photo-shooty vibe (that's official photography language) that I had to stop myself from putting every photo in black & white. Thank you so much you guys. I can't wait to meet baby H soon :)
Nate, Kaitlyn, & Elara Oh my goodness, what a fun evening. I've done a few photoshoots with this family and I leave every time feeling so happy. They are such a joy to be around, and they just go with the flow. Elara is such an adventurous little girl, and every time they put her down she would take off crawling in the opposite direction (until Nate would chase her and bring her back, which would elicit giggles each time.) And can we all agree that Kaitlyn looks STUNNING?! You guys are awesome, can't wait to meet baby #2!
Christy, Varun & Arjun ...Are patiently waiting for baby #2! What a fun morning. Loved getting to spend time in their home with them, listening to Arjun explain things to me, hearing his parents read him his Big Brother book, and watching him puff his belly out to look like Mom! After the home session, we took a short trip to Christy's parent's dairy farm (we did their first maternity shoot there). The barn door where we took most of their photos is special to them because it's where they got their wedding pictures taken. Now they have pictures there in every stage of their life together. Too cute. It's a good thing we got these photos done because baby A was born 2 days later!! More to come... 2019
Jodi & Jake It's always a fun time with these two. And a photoshoot with a field AND horses? Sign me up! I even had this mama-to-be wading through the creek. But Jodi is such a sport! This is one lucky baby that is so loved already. Can't wait to meet her!! 2018
Kaitlyn & Nate So. After today I have decided to make "Glamor Maternity Shoots" a thing... not really. But OMG just look at her!! I had so much fun with these two. Kaitlyn is so gorgeous, inside and out, and come ON, look at that adorable bump! Nate is such a character and kept the whole session light and fun. I'm so happy for these two kind souls and the beautiful little girl they brought into the world a few days ago, girlfriend is lucky to have such amazing parents. Oh, and Kaitlyn, come model for me again! :) 2018
Christy & Varun Have I ever mentioned how much I love photographing at farms? No? Well I do, secret's out. I'm a sucker for a gorgeous stone wall backdrop or a classic farm lane. These two were amazing. Since their wedding photos were taken at Christy's family farm it seemed only fitting they photograph the arrival of their first little one here too! Between the sunset, the stone, the cows, and the adorable matching family outfits, how could I NOT love this shoot?? Congrat's Christy and Varun -- Love you guys! 2015
Julie, Mark & Boys This adorable maternity shoot ended up turning into a family photoshoot because how can you not give those adorable boys a photoshoot of their own? By the end they were even saying, "Look mom! We are models!" This was a momentous shoot, I got captured a rare picture of Mark's smile as well as the boys hugging one another (They told me mom would like if they did that). The whole family has been ANXIOUSLY awaiting baby #3 for months and we can finally say she is here!! That's right... don't let all the blue fool you it was a GIRL!! More to come... :) 2015
Emily & Colin Sorry there's so many pictures in this one but I couldn't decide which to leave out! I had so much fun taking pictures with her in the morning and I think Colin even started enjoying it later on! :) Emily was such a trooper because I had her walking all over the place; she was even climbing over fences! I can't wait to meet my little nephew!! ENJOY 2014
